Pertapis Children's Home

On Friday, maisarah, juliat and me went to Pertapis Children Home to see how the class can help the home for our CIP. The home is a place for children whose parents are in jail and a place to protect children under child abuse. We found some activities that we can help the home and we will have our class CIP on 2nd Aug next saturday. Before the CIP, we will need some preparation such as buying of materials needed for the CIP so we hope that all of you can help out. More details will be given on Monday. We really hope that all of you can put in your very best in the CIP and not do it just for the sake of getting CT-SL. We really don't want to disappoint the person in charge ( the lady as seen in the above picture) who's a very kind lady so please put in your very best on the day itself , just one day will do.

Requisit- CIP award

Hey everyone, here's some points to take note of regarding the lecture today...

1) Min, 1 CT-SL to receive any award ( ie, gold, silver...)

2) To get Gold min 76hrs + 1 self- initiated SL

3) to get Platinum min 100hrs + 1 self-initiated SL

4) External CIP not equals SL. (Diff is SL- u plan it, CIP- u just help out)

5) A CT-SL should be done as a class, has to be planned by SL rep. Participating in an existing event planned by the organiser and not US is not equals to SL but equals to CIP.

6) Self-initiated SL, has to be planned by either one or the group of you. There is no need to look for other ppl to join the event you have planned. The group of you (as long your name is written at the point when the SL form is submitted), upon completion, it will be considered that all of you have completed a Self-initiated SL.

Since that is so, I'm so sorry to inform you guys that this Sunday's event will have to be cancelled, as it will most likely be not considered as a SL project, so instead yongshin, zhanhong and I have been searching for a replacement so that you guys can reach the pre-requisite for awards....

We will most likely be painting a home for kids and elderly next saturday. I apologise for the manychanges... blocking out your weekends... but ya... its to our benefit k? So at the mean time do look out for you Self-initiated SL projects while I fix the CT-SL.

If you guys do plan to initiate a SL, do share it with your class mates ok?
Its big time we start helping one another ya...

Well, thats all I can say for now...

Thanks for reading....
